a genus of chemoorganotrophic, gram-negative rods in the family Alcaligenaceae.

Taylorella asinigenitalis
isolated from an asymptomatic male donkey; its pathogenicity is unknown.
Taylorella equigenitalis
the cause of contagious equine metritis. Previously called Haemophilus equigenitalis.
