TUT1

A gene on chromosome 11q12.2 that encodes an enzyme which functions as both a terminal uridylyltransferase and a nuclear poly(A) polymerase, adding and removing nucleotides from the 3' end of small nuclear RNAs and specific mRNAs; it may also may control gene expression and cell proliferation.
