TTLL6(redirected from TTL.6)
TTLL6A gene on chromosome 17q21.32 that encodes a polyglutamylase which preferentially modifies alpha-tubulin. TTLL6 is involved in the side-chain initiation step of polyglutamylation, rather than in the elongation step. TTLL6 is found in a complex with CP41, which is required for its transport between the basal body and the cilium.
