CRLF2 A gene on chromosome Xp22.3 and Yp11.3 that encodes a protein receptor for thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), which forms a functional complex with TSLP and IL7R and stimulates cell proliferation by activating STAT3 and STAT5, as well as JAK2. It is
implicated in the development of the haematopoietic system.

Therefore, we propose a new idea that abnormal communication may exist between IL-25/IL-33/TSLP and fibrocyte, which forms a functional pathologic pathway (i.e., IL-25/IL-33/TSLP-[IL-17RB + ST2L + TSLPR
+] fibrocyte axis) to exert the pathogenesis of airway changes in AADs [Figure 3].
Via TSLP, DCs in the gut may be shifted towards a tolerogenic phenotype (*: TSLPR
expression is limited to gut DCs).
The gene array data also did not show any difference in the expression of TSLPR
, IL-33R, or ICOSL on aged DCs as compared to young DCs .
