TRAF7

A gene on chromosome 16p13.3 that encodes an E3 ubiquitin ligase which is capable of auto-ubiquitination following phosphorylation by MAP3K3. TRAF7 potentiates MEKK3-mediated activation of the NF-kappaB, JUN/AP1 and DDIT3 transcriptional regulators and, when overexpressed, induces apoptosis.
