NCOA3(redirected from TNRC14)
NCOA3A gene on chromosome 20q12 that encodes a nuclear receptor coactivator, which interacts with nuclear hormone receptors to enhance transcription. NCOA3 has histone acetyltransferase activity and recruits other proteins, forming a multi-unit coactivation complex. It first appears in the cytoplasm but is translocated into the nucleus upon phosphorylation.
