TIBO

A class of benzodiazepine-related compounds with anti-HIV activity which, at low doses, ↓ in vitro viral replication by inhibiting reverse transcriptase; TIBO's inhibition of reverse transcriptase is 5 times more potent than zidovudine's. See Nonnucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor.
