CDH9(redirected from T1-cadherin)
CDH9A gene on chromosome 5p14 that encodes a calcium-dependent cell–cell adhesion glycoprotein (cadherin), which is involved in regulating cell–cell adhesions, mobility and proliferation of epithelial cells. CDH9 is a so-called type-II (atypical) cadherin (which lacks a HAV cell adhesion recognition sequence specific to type-I cadherins).
