TBX4(redirected from T-box 4)
TBX4A gene on chromosome 17q21-q22 that encodes a DNA-binding member of the phylogenetically conserved family of genes that have a common DNA-binding domain, the T-box. T-box genes encode transcription factors involved in regulating development; TBX4 is expressed in developing hindlimb, but not forelimb, buds.
