sulphamethoxazole

Sulfamethozazole, a SULPHONAMIDE DRUG used in combination with the folic acid inhibitor drug trimethoprim in the treatment of various infections, especially urinary infections. The drug combination is on the WHO official list. Brand names are Chemotrim and Septrin.
