Strawberry Mucosa

A variant of strawberry cervix, characterised by oedema, erythema and spotting of tiny blisters, due to infection of the genital mucosa, vaginal wall, portio and urethral meatus, often caused by Trichomonas vaginalis and seen by colposcopy in up to 92% of women infected with T vaginalis, often accompanied by yellowish and/or purulent discharge, vulvar itching and fishy odour
