Any of several foul-smelling fungi of the order Phallales, such as Phallus impudicus or P. ravenelii, having a thick, cylindrical stalk and a narrow cap.

Other than knocking the stinkhorns off as soon as they come through the soil, the only other treatment is to use a weak solution of Armillatox as recommended on the label.
A weak solution will usually sterilise the spores that cause the stinkhorns to grow.
