an expression of equality between two parts.
Henderson-Hasselbalch equation a formula for calculating the pH of a buffer solution such as blood plasma, pH = pKa + log [BA/HA]; [HA] is the concentration of a free weak acid; [BA] the concentration of the ionized form of this acid; pKa the acid dissociation constant, a measure of the ionization equilibrium of the acid.

Patient discussion about equation

Q. how do i determine what is the right weight i need to be? i know there is a way to calculate it, an equation , what are the parameters in it ?

A. I don't mean to burst any bubbles, but BMI is definitely not a good way to determine what weight you should be. If you considered that a body builder or a professional athlete is considered obese under BMI standards then you would know what I mean. Here is an article about it I found on Medical News Today: http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/49991.php

The LA method described below incorporates the basic projection techniques developed by Kaczmarz and Cimmino and attempts to find an approximate solution point by determining a point on the line that passes close to the actual solution point, similar to the approaches proposed by Pierra or Dax.
While considering each reuse vector, some of its CME solution points are declared definite misses, while others are indeterminate.
The sustainable solution points toward the production of cellulosic ethanol from waste materials or from perennial, nitrogen-conserving grasses grown on agriculturally marginal land.
Since off-base counterparts of the Camp Pendleton Fire Department used commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment, a Marine Corps solution pointed to similar technology.
The common sense solution points to having more police officers on the street to deal with all the jobs in the first place, rather than having 60 jobs stacked up for allocation to three or four patrol cars as stated by one individual operator.

In carrying out this third step in the overall systems analysis, one is identifying potential solutions in objective function space, which satisfy all of the constraints in the problem and identify optimum solution points for the objective functions in the problem.
