Simplified Motor Score

Simplified Motor Score,
An assessment tool to gauge the severity of head injuries. It is derived from and works as well as the more detailed Glasgow Coma Scale.
The SMS consists of evaluating whether a trauma patient obeys commands (the patient scores two points), localizes pain (the patient scores only one point), withdraws from pain or is even less responsive (the patient scores no points).
