Seabright Bantam Syndrome

A generic term for a condition attributed to defective end-organ responses to structurally and functionally normal hormones—e.g., ADH-resistant diabetes insipidus, growth hormone resistance syndrome of de Morsier, testosterone resistance (Morris) syndrome, pseudohypothyroidism (PTH) resistance, Savage’s FSH resistance syndrome; the human equivalent of the Sebright bantam rooster is due to oestradiol overproduction, causing gynaecomastia
