For the two slightly finer textured soils (fine sand and fine
sandy loam), the minimum lies somewhere between [h.sub.ip] and [h.sub.max].
Soils were loamy,
sandy loam, and silty loam, whereas texture was loam in both soils of Nashpa oil field of Kohat.
Two experiments were carried out on soils with different textures: ARGISSOLO AMARELO alitico plintico,
sandy loam texture, located at Serido Ecological Site, P.A.

Soil productivity has been the focus of agronomists and to this extent enormous research efforts have been and are still made towards evolving enduring approaches to sustain and increase soil productivity and yield of crops, it is imperative to study potential of animal wastes in productivity of
sandy loam. This research was carried out to study potentials of animal wastes in productivity of a
sandy loam in Abakaliki in the derived Savanah zone of Nigeria.

Then, five compaction levels were defined for soils of
sandy loam (1.35, 1.40, 1.49, 1.60 and 1.70 Mg [m.sup.-3]) and sandy clay loam texture (1.36, 1.43, 1.50, 1.61 and 1.69 Mg [m.sup.-3]) and three levels for soils of clayey (1.35, 1.41 and 1.48 Mg [m.sup.-3]) and very clayey texture (1.15, 1.24 and 1.27 Mg [m.sup.-3]), with three replicates in each, totaling 48 pots.
