Sabre Sheath Trachea
A fixed deformity of the intrathoracic trachea in which the coronal diameter of the trachea is less than half of the sagittal diameter; lateral tracheal walls are thickened; there is an abrupt transition of shape to a curve at the thoracic outlet, best seen by AP tomography and considered characteristic of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
