WDR82

A gene on chromosome 3p21.2 that encodes a member of the WD-repeat protein family which is a regulatory component of the SET1 complex, tethering the complex to transcriptional start sites of active genes. It is also a component of the PTW/PP1 phosphatase complex, which plays a role in the control of chromatin structure and cell cycle progression during the transition from mitosis to interphase.
