STK38 A gene on chromosome 6p21 that encodes a ubiquitously expressed serine/threonine protein kinase which downregulates MAP3K1/2 signalling, converting MAP3K2 to a nonphosphorylated form and inhibiting MAP3K2 autophosphorylation.
