Special Pathogens Reference Unit

A division of the Health Protection Agency (UK) which provides diagnostic services for pathogenic arboviruses, haemorrhagic fever viruses, orthopoxvirus, hantavirus, Nipah and Hendra viruses, and some Hazard Group 3 pathogens—Orientia, Rickettsia spp, Coxiella burnetii, Bacillus anthracis, Francisella tularensis.
