WDR61

A gene on chromosome 15q25.1 that encodes a member of the WD-repeat protein family and component of the SKI complex, as well as the PAF1 complex (PAF1C), which has multiple functions during transcription by RNA polymerase II. It appears to play a role in the development and maintenance of embryonic stem cell pluripotency.
