GEMIN2

A gene on chromosome 14q21.1 that encodes gem-associated protein 2, a member of the survival of motor neuron (SMN) complex. The SMN complex plays a key role in spliceosomal snRNP assembly in the cytoplasm and is required for pre-mRNA splicing in the nucleus.

Instead of using a system-on-chip design, the new budget Asus smartphones relies on Qualcomm's Snapdragon SiP1 chip.
As opposed to a system-on-chip, the Snapdragon SiP1 packs the application processor, application processor, power management, RF front end, and audio codec, into a single chip.
