SERPINB10

SERPINB10

A gene on chromosome 18q21.3 that encodes a member of the serine protease inhibitor (serpin) family, which regulate a wide range of intracellular and extracellular processes, such as complement activation, fibrinolysis, coagulation, cellular differentiation, tumour suppression, apoptosis and cell migration. SERPINB10 may play a role in regulating protease activities during haematopoiesis and apoptosis induced by TNF, and it may regulate proteases in the cytoplasm and nucleus.
