CDKN1A (redirected from SDI1)
CDKN1A A gene on chromosome 6p21.2 that encodes a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor, which binds to and inhibits the activity of cyclin-CDK2 or -CDK4 complexes, thus acting as a regulator of cell cycle progression at G1. CDKN1A expression is controlled by p53, a tumour suppressor that mediates p53-dependent cell cycle G1-phase arrest in response to various stress stimuli. CDKN1A is specifically cleaved by CASP3-like caspases, activating CDK2 and possibly also the apoptosis pathway.

The mean and the standard deviation of the first set of data for the elementary group were: Mean (XE1) = 3.93 Standard Deviation (SDE1) = 2.13 The mean and the standard deviation of the second set of data for the elementary group were: Mean (XE2) = 4.73 Standard Deviation (SDE2) = 2.43 For the intermediate group the mean and the standard deviation for both sets of scores were also calculated: Mean (XI1) = 1.73 Standard Deviation (SDI1
) = 1.28 Mean (XI2) = 1.63 Standard Deviation (SDI2) = 1.33 The resulting calculated mean and the standard deviation of the two sets of scores for the advanced group were: Mean (XA1) = 2.00 Standard Deviation (SDA1) = 0.91 Mean (XA2) = 1.23 Standard Deviation (SDA2) = 1.10
