MAPK11(redirected from SAPK2B)
MAPK11A gene on chromosome 22q13.33 that encodes a member of the MAP kinase family, which integrate multiple biochemical signals and are involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, transcription, regulation and development. MAPK11 is preferentially activated by MAPK kinase—especially MKK6; it is closely related to p38 MAP kinase and both are activated by pro-inflammatory cytokines and environmental stress.
