Rule 7(redirected from Rule 7 of the General Medical Council (Fitness to Practise) Rules 2004)
Rule 7One of the UK’s General Medical Council (Fitness to Practise) Rules 2004, which is a key stage in the investigation of a doctor whose fitness to practise has been questioned, as it is the point at which the GMC disclose their evidence, together with a set of allegations, to the doctor. The doctor then has 28 days to comment and the matter will then be reviewed by the case examiners to determine whether a referral to a Fitness to Practise Panel is appropriate.
