Royal Institute of Public Health and HygieneA UK body dedicated to the furthering of public health, which resulted from the 1937 merger of the Institute of Hygiene (founded in 1903) with the Royal Institute of Public Health (RIPH). In 2008, RIPH merged with the Society of Public Health to become the Royal Society for Public Health.
