riot gun

A firearm used to fire non-lethal ammunition to suppress riots. Riot guns can be purpose-built for riot control and loaded with special ammunition, or can be standard-issue weapons loaded with plastic bullets, teargas cartridges, pepper spray, smoke shells, sound projectiles, etc.
