Rhipicephalus annulatus A hard tick found most often on cattle, heavy burdens of which reduce milk production and damage hides. R annulatus is also a vector for babesiosis (due to Babesia bigemina and B bovis) and anaplasmosis (due to Anaplasma marginale).
