RNF7

A gene on chromosome 3q22-q24 that encodes a highly conserved ring finger protein, which is an essential subunit of the SKP1-cullin/ CDC53-F box protein ubiquitin ligases. These ubiquitin ligases are part of the protein degradation machinery involved in cell cycle progression and signal transduction.
