RAD9A

A gene on chromosome 11q13.1-q13.2 which encodes a protein that forms a checkpoint protein complex with RAD1 and HUS1, which is recruited by checkpoint protein RAD17 to sites of DNA damage and may help trigger the checkpoint-signalling cascade.
