RAB1B

A gene on chromosome 11q12 that encodes a member of the Rab subfamily of Ras-related small GTPases located on cytoplasmic surfaces. It functions in the early secretory pathway and is essential for vesicle transport from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus.
