Pseudolynchia

a genus of flies in the family Hippoboscidae.

Pseudolynchia canariensis, Pseudolynchia capensis, Pseudolynchia lividicolor
found on domestic pigeons and some wild birds. Dark brown flies resembling a sheep ked. They transmit Haemoproteus columbae of pigeons and H. lophortyx of quail.
