Priority 2 casualty
Priority 2 casualtyA term defined in the context of a major incident (“disaster”) in the UK, for a person who has serious injuries which do not pose an immediate threat to life, but require urgent interventions. Priority 2 casualties are placed in the main A&E department; the average hospital in the UK can accept up to 10 P2 casualties at a time.
