Porcelain Doll Face

A term referring to the puffy, pale faces seen in adults with myxoedema, which results from the accumulation of glycosaminoglycans; elsewhere on the skin surface, the prominent anchoring of the deep dermis to the surface by fibrous septae results in a 'pitted' appearance, termed ‘peau d’orange’ change
