Popsickle Panniculitis

A rare condition characterised by inflammation of adipose tissue due to localised—intraoral—exposure to the cold, first described in a young child after ingesting a ‘popsicle’, a licked frozen snack food; the reaction is attributed to the more saturated nature of fats in children
