Patient Focus and Public Involvement

A Scottish Government initiative aimed at delivering a culture change in the NHS where patient-focus is at the heart of service design and delivery.

Patient Focus and Public Involvement initiative seeks to provide:
• A service where people are respected, treated as individuals and involved in their own care;
• A service where individuals, groups and communities are involved in improving the quality of care, in influencing priorities and in planning services; and
• A service designed for and involving users.
