Pasteurellaceae

a family of gram negative, facultatively anaerobic, rod-shaped bacteria that are mostly commensals of mucosal surfaces but are capable of causing opportunistic infectin and disease. Includes the genera Haemophilus, Actinbacillus, Pasteurella (hence sometimes called the HAP group) and Mannheimia.
