PPIG

PPIG

A gene on chromosome 2q31.1 that encodes peptidylprolyl cis-trans isomerase G (cyclophilin G), which, as with other PPIs, accelerates protein folding. It catalyses the cis-trans isomerisation of proline-imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides. It may play a role in folding, transport and assembly of proteins, as well as in regulating pre-mRNA splicing.

In this section, we explain the explicit FEA model for the PPSS, Seigel's PPIG model, and the instrumentation in detail.
The design variables of the wrap-around breech are shown in Figure 18 and can be determined using the Seigel's PPIG gun model [27].
We developed the PPSS which simulates a release device itself by using a systematic design procedure based on explicit FEA and Seigel's PPIG model.
