oxidation-reduction

 [ok″sĭ-da´shun-re-duk´shun]
the chemical reaction whereby electrons are removed (oxidation) from atoms of the substance being oxidized and transferred to those being reduced (reduction).

red·ox

(red'oks),
Contraction of oxidation-reduction. See: oxidation-reduction potential.

Various technologies are used, such as coagulation, advanced oxidation processes, and membrane filtration, but the technology most suited for the removal of heavy metals and organic pollutants is treatment with activated carbon.
Therefore, several researchers have used electron microscopy to observe the inner structure of particles and reveal the details of soot oxidation processes [13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18].
The oxidation process led to increased decomposition and/ or oxidation of the aliphatic coal structure; in this case, the bands associated with aliphatic groups decreased after coal oxidation, which indicates that the aliphatic chains or branches were altered, favoring the formation of oxygenated groups.
This process is called degenerate chain branching and leads to an acceleration of the oxidation process.
The wafers were annealing at the temperature of 750[degrees]C to 780[degrees]C after the dry oxidation process. The goal was to improve bulk Si crystalline quality and bulk carrier lifetime after thermal oxidation.
Various methods are being used for the treatment of industrial wastewater to remove PTA world over like, supercritical water oxidation, ozone assisted photochemical oxidation (UV/[O.sub.3]/[H.sub.2][O.sub.2]), advanced oxidation processes (AOP), UV-assisted ozonation (UV/[O.sub.3]), ozone-assisted photo-fenton oxidation (UV/[O.sub.3]/[H.sub.2][O.sub.2]/FeS[O.sub.4]), photo-fenton oxidation (UV/[H.sub.2][O.sub.2]/FeS[O.sub.4]), and radiation treatment using gammaray, treated with powdered and granular activated carbon and biological treatment (Satish, 2013; Anbia et al., 2012; Saleem et al., 2011; Aygun and Yilmaz, 2010; Zhu et al., 2010; Barbusinski, 2005).

Taking into consideration the fact that microsparkle oxidation process highly depends on the microstructure of the substrate, it seems that the nano-crystallization of aluminum alloy surface significantly affects the properties of the produced coating.
Aptly titled "Natura," Erdoy-muE-'s solo show also features a video detailing the meticulous process of creating his works, starting from the collecting of silk tree, datura, lilium and clove leaves from nature, to how they are grouped and dried under special circumstances between the pages of large notebooks, how he uses them on the canvas as elements of his abstract compositions and how he uses the metal oxidation process to create various colors.
Special processes have been developed to remove these substances, such as adsorption with active carbon or decomposition using the O3/UV advanced oxidation process, but they are costly.
