RIP

Abbreviation for radioimmunoprecipitation.

RIP

1 abbreviation for reflex inhibiting pattern.
2 abbreviation for ribosome-inactivating protein.

RIPK1

A gene on chromosome 6p25.2 that encodes a serine/threonine/tyrosine kinase which transduces inflammatory and cell-death signals (necroptosis), triggered in response to the binding of ligands to death receptors, activation of pathogen recognition receptors (PRRs) and DNA damage. Activation of TNFR1 by TNF-alpha family cytokines recruits TRADD and TRAF2 to the receptor; ubiquitination by TRAF2 enhances communication with downstream signal transducers in the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and NF-kappaB pathways, activating genes that encode inflammatory molecules. Polyubiquitinated protein binds to IKBKG/NEMO, the regulatory subunit of the IKK complex, a critical event for NF-kappaB activation. Interaction with other cellular RHIM-containing adapters initiates gene activation and cell death. RIPK1 and RIPK3 form a necroptosis-inducing complex.

RIP

Abbreviation for radioimmunoprecipitation; respiratory inductance plethysmography.

RIP

rickettsial interference phenomenon.

After modeling basic components of the network system such as nodes and links, OSPF behavior is implemented to give network routing capability and intelligence.
OSPF forms adjacencies between neighboring routers operating in the same Autonomous System (AS).
The Hello protocol is used by OSPF to verify the eligibility of potential OSPF neighbors, and to confirm the correct area ID, timer values, and OSPF priority.
The database of the Autonomous System (AS) topology in developed OSPF framework is represented both neighbor table and topology database.
Figure 6 shows that upon the failure point, OSPF has chosen an alternative route to continue the date delivery process, and sticks to that route even after the failure is recovered.
Three IGP protocols are discussed--RIP, OSPF and EIGRP, of which the features as well as the advantages and disadvantages have been analyzed in the paper.
Results show that with the same network specifications it is likely that EIGRP and OSPF have chosen the same route for the VoIP application.

The analyzer's data store logs all routing events, including every OSPF link-state advertisement and routing anomaly.
For this reason, even if group membership in a particular group is completely contained within a single non-backbone OSPF area, datagrams originating within the area and addressed to that group will unnecessarily be delivered to the area's boundary with the OSPF backbone (where they will then be promptly discarded).
MOSPF uses the Dijkstra algorithm to calculate the path of a multicast datagram through any given OSPF area.
As a simple example, suppose an OSPF area consists of 200 routers.
