OPTOMETRY WALES has welcomed the launch of the Wales Eye Care Service, (WECS) which will enable optometrists to deliver even better levels of patient care through a new, national enhanced service. It follows the recent commitment from the Minister of Health and Social Services to make eye health a public health priority in Wales.
