Herbal medicine(1) Tropaeolum majus (Indian cress), a flowering plant that contains glucotrapeoline, which hydrolyses to form sulphur-based antibiotics; it is antimicrobial, haematopoietic and purgative, and has been used for respiratory and urinary tract infections.
