We performed MTT and
NRU cytotoxicity assays, since they are generally used tests to determine the cytotoxicity of NPs in different cell lines.
It was observed in the
NRU assay that a 24h-exposure of cell line to different concentrations of ethanolic extract caused no reduction in the number of viable cells, whereas in the MTT assay there was a slight reduction in cell viability at the concentration of 2000mg/mL (Figure 2).
30 to 80 [micro]L/mL of HTST-juice reduced the metabolic activity of HeLa to 50% of the control, measured quantitatively as
NRU. Observing the cells by the microscope revealed that at 60 [micro]L/mL HeLa was metabolically still active (red stained with neutral red), at 100 [micro]L/mL it was nearly inactive (faint red) yet normally shaped, and at 300 [micro]L/mL only few cells were seen and were not metabolically active (Figure 6).

NRU test has been done according to Borenfreund and Puerner [20] methods and measures the intake of the neutral red dye in lysosomes of viable cells.
He further added that still in KP rural areas there was no
NRU unit while still there was no place specified by the government in hospitals where mother can feed their babies, adding that in developed countries in every hospital there was a separate unit where mother were feed their babies.
The OECD distinguishes between a long-run structural rate of unemployment (
NRU), corresponding to Friedman's original natural rate, determined by economic fundamentals, and the non-accelerating inflation rate of unemployment (NAIRU) as a short-run phenomenon.
The benefactor had purchased a block of tickets for both the New Zealand v Tonga and the Scotland v Samoa games before tasking the
NRU with distributing them.
The combination of these factors brings about a long-term average around which the unemployment rate tends to fluctuate called the natural rate of unemployment (
NRU).
