ADAMTSac2
An ADAMTSs family enzyme encoded by ADAMTS2 on chromosome 5qter which removes N-terminal propeptides of collagen types 1, 2 and 5 before fibril assembly. ADAMTS2 mutations have been linked to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome type VIIC and to bovine dermatosparaxis.
