IL17B

A gene on chromosome 5q33.1 that encodes IL17B, a cytokine which is highly expressed in the pancreas, small intestine, stomach, spinal cord and testes, and which stimulates the release of tumour necrosis factor alpha and IL-1-beta from the monocytic cell line THP-1.
