NF1

A gene on chromosome 17q11.2 that encodes neurofibromin 1, a protein which stimulates GTPase activity of Ras and may regulate Ras activity.

Molecular pathology
NF1 defects cause:
• Familial spinal neurofibromatosis;
• Juvenile myelomonocytic leukaemia;
• Neurofibromatosis type 1;
• Neurofibromatosis-Noonan syndrome;
• Watson syndrome; and
• Some cases of colorectal carcinoma.

The fuzzy triangular weighted arithmetic (FTWA) operator is an extension of the TWA operator (see Remark 21 below) for situations where the available information is uncertain and it is necessary to use other techniques such as NFNs. Its main advantage is that it represents the information in a more complete way because it considers the maximum and the minimum result that may occur in the uncertain environment and the possibility that the internal values will occur.
Let [mathematical expression not reproducible] be two NFNs and let ([w.sub.1], ..., [w.sub.n]) be a weighting vector (Definition 17).
The fuzzy triangular ordered weighted arithmetic (FTOWA) operator is an extension of the TOWA operator (see Remark 24 below) for situations where the available information is uncertain and it is necessary to use other techniques such as NFNs. It can be defined as follows.
The fuzzy triangular weighted geometric (FTWG) operator is an extension of the TWG operator (see Remark 35) for situations where the available information is uncertain and it is necessary to use other techniques such as NFNs. It can be defined as follows.
By analogy, the fuzzy triangular ordered weighted geometric (FTOWG) operator is an extension of the TOWG operator (see Remark 38) for situations where the available information is uncertain and it is necessary to use other techniques such as NFNs. It can be defined as follows.
Short stature is a common feature of NFNS as it is of NF1 and NS (22).
There is only one case report in the literature about GHD and GH treatment in NFNS. As mentioned above, this one report focuses on the dermatological lesions in NFNS and gives no detailed information about GH treatment.
The reason the father had a short stature was likely due to the fact that he also had NFNS, was not assessed with respect to GHD, and did not receive any treatment.
There is limited experience with GHD in NFNS cases, since it is a rare condition that is clinically difficult to identify.
Different mutations in the NF1 gene are associated with Neurofibromatosis-Noonan syndrome (NFNS).
Training parameters is a problem in the design of a NFN. To solve this problem, back-propagation (BP) training is widely used [3]-[8].
In this section, we will introduce the symbiotic adaptive particle swarm optimization (SAPSO) for NFN design.
