CHST4(redirected from N-acetylglucosamine 6-O-sulfotransferase 2)
CHST4A gene on chromosome 16q22.2 that encodes a sulfotransferase which catalyses the transfer of sulfate to residues within mucin-associated glycans. These glycans serve as L-selectin ligands, which are present in high endothelial cells (HEVs) and play a central role in lymphocyte homing to sites of inflammation.
CHST4 is expressed in colonic mucinous adenocarcinoma.
