The mRNA expressions of MyHC-IIx and MyHC-IIb were lower in the HR and RB of SJ, than in JJ (p<0.05).
The results in the present study showed a similar trend, such that shear force value of SJ was significantly lower than that of JJ, and the MyHC isoform genes expressions results showed that the mRNA expressions of MyHC-IIx and MyHC-IIb were lower in the HR ad RB muscle of SJ, than those of JJ.
