2. the air or climate in a particular place. adj., atmospher´ic.

ATM

Ataxia telangiectasia mutated. A checkpoint kinase which transduces genomic stress signals to stop cell cycle progression and promote DNA repair, acting via p53, a tumour suppressor protein. Its cognate gene, ATM (see below), is mutated in ataxia telangiectasia, a rare neurodegenerative disease characterised by ataxia telangiectasias, increased chromosome fragility when exposed to ionising radiation and predisposition to lymphomas.

ATM (Gene)
A gene on chromosome 11q22-q23, which encodes a PI3/PI4 cell-cycle checkpoint kinase that phosphorylates, thereby regulating a broad range of downstream proteins—e.g., tumor suppressor proteins p53 and BRCA1, checkpoint kinase CHK2, checkpoint proteins RAD17 and RAD9, and DNA repair protein NBS1.

Mutated in
Ataxia-telangiectasia.

atm

Abbreviation for standard atmosphere.

Thus, the same table is to be used to reaches other P and PE routers inside MPLS. However, different routing tables are preserved for dual-stacking [13] [14].
MPLS is independent from both network layer protocols and data link layer media and its infrastructure has minimal core impact to provide IPv6 services [25-26].
As business networks increasingly carry converged traffic (VolP, video, data), MPLS has emerged as the most efficient way to meet the special delivery needs of each type of data.
Hatem Bamatraf, Executive VP of Network Development and Operations, du, says MPLS is still the dominant WAN technology and constitutes a major demand from its domestic and multi-national customers.
"This project will support the efforts made by ROP in enhancing the communication with different ROP branches all over the Sultanate as the MPLS system will not only provide better speeds but will ensure security and confidentiality of all data transmitted through this network" said Samy Ahmed Al Ghassany chief operating officer at Omantel.
He explained, "MPLS is a switching technology that achieves low latency, high throughput, and an efficient routing scheme for all types of traffic.
One of the core issues in MPLS Networks is the mitigation plan in case of network congestion or network unavailability which is overcome by dynamic path establishment schemes wherein disjoint backup LSP's are established along with the primary LSP and in turn these disjoint paths are near to optimal and provide fruitful results with DiffServ.
The Managed MPLS Service will provide world-class solutions with end-to-end service assurance to enterprises for their business critical networks.
